With encouragement from friends and colleagues, I started selling my products and set up this blog.

In December 2007, I began teaching on a freelance basis and was appointed the trainer of a programme under the Ministry Of Women, Family And Community Development of Malaysia.

Currently, I conduct private beading classes for small groups who wish to discover beaded jewellery as their hobby.

It is fun and satisfying to DIY jewellery for yourself and as a gift for your love ones.

Wire Love - Episode 3 : The Swan

This time is a birthday gift..... or I just simple find a reason to do it again! hehe :-)

My friend name Swan, so I make her a swan.

This time, I want it with lesser beads and something not too complicated. Found one odd bead that was abandoned for quite sometime cos' don't know what to do with just a single piece.

Love shape bead to form body of the swan;
eyed with Swarovski bead of same color.

Swan like to wear big pendant, so I made a hook for her chain.

The packaging :

1. Beige colour bag - from a wedding dinner, where layer cake was served for each guest.

2. The sticker - from my auntie Hoon who is operating a custom made stickers company in UK. The most useful souvenir I ever get! She gave me one big roll of it :-)

I am not sure whether she sell the stickers in retail, but you may be interested to visit her website of The inkREADible Label Company: http://www.inkreadible.com/

Vicky's Wire Love - Episode 2

I was so reluctant to give away the very first master piece as my friend's wedding gift.

I must make one for myself! So, here come the 2nd piece of wire creation :

It's for me, so that is my name on it :-)

I like the ending of Y

This piece is little bit bigger than the 1st one,

measuring 6cm (w) x 7.5cm(h)

I was greedy, too much beads were used. I actually like it with lesser beads, look a bit looser where beads can move freer and wire to expose more.

It is now hanging in my car, the wire love will continue.....

Wire Love, Love Wire! - It is just a begining.....

My first piece of all wire creation - wow!

I was sourcing for something special as wedding gift, but found it hard cos those gifts selling at shops are just too ordinary or expensive. Then when I was doing my beading and thinking about the wire works I always wanted to explore with bunch of wires I bought recently, a great idea came upon!

Hmm, why not I "try" to work out my idea.... ya, it was just a "why not I try..." at the beginning; but it ended with a wow! Such an gorgeous piece, I am indeed very happy :-) I can do it!

Voon and Lian are the new couple
It is a decorative pendant measure appx. 6cm(w) x 4cm(h)

I like this pair of cute little ring :-)

To all my friends and fellows out there, start exploring with "why not I try...." The results might surprise even yourself!

Never Try Never Know!
