I was featured in the latest Dec’08 – Mac’09 issue of Inspire, a business journal published by WIM.
The interview was conducted month ago about my venture in jewelry business. Ms Mejalla Gomez has written a good story on how I started beaded jewelry as a hobby and later turned into entrepreneurship.
The story truly reflects what I have done and planned to do, my passion in beaded jewelry and my view in this hobby business. However, I was shocked and disappointed that all pictures of jewelries featured in the write up are not my products! Permission has been given to the publisher to use pictures in my web page, but somehow, it ended with great disappointment :-(
They are beautiful jewelries too, but they are not my products!
Immediately I expressed my distress to the publisher. I guest every handmade artist will agree with me that the most important elements of handmade products are its uniqueness, individuality and originality of a design and workmanship. Creations of an artist are like her second life because this is what makes it different from others, a reason why an artist is being preferred or dislike. Just imagine, someone else’s products were being misled that they are your creation!
Whilst I am very frustrated over this issue, whoever the original designer is, I herewith disclaim any misuse of the product pictures. I was not my idea at all and I should not be held liable.

I am seeking permission from the editor to reproduce the full story to upload here, the full story excluding product pictures.
